About Us

Owner and founder, Alicia Paniccia, has been a professional dog trainer for the last decade. She is well versed in all training methods, with a primary focus on relationships and how they can heavily influence the connection between dog and owner. This passion led her directly to competitive dog sports, and in 2014 Alicia began exploring competition frisbee and dock diving with her Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie mix, Gunner. Gunner’s success in these sports introduced her to some very special opportunities and friendships in the dog industry across the country.

Alicia has an extensive history with rescue, which began when she was a child. This included rescuing whatever came her way, volunteering endlessly at local shelters, to fostering dogs from all over the country. Alicia’s next dog, Avalanche, was a rescue Belgian Malinois from the state of Massachusetts and opened another set of doors for her into the protection sport world. Avalanche went from Craigslist dog to a sport dog in no time, competing in a discipline known as French Ringsport where she acquired her level 1 title in 2022.

Alicia believes the best way to win a dogs heart is to tap into their soul with play. A working dog relationship as it is unlike no other and the best part is, you don’t have to have a “working dog” to do so.
